Professor Dr Sharmili Vidyadaran has a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science and a PhD in Neuroscience (Imperial College London). She has been teaching immunology for the past 20 years to preclinical medical students, and also students from allied health science degrees. She is on the Editorial Board of several journals, including the journal Immune System published by Karger. Professor Vidyadaran has a research focus on the resident macrophages of the brain and inflammation.
