Dr. Geetha Palaniappan is a Senior Registered Medical Officer specializing in Hematology and Transplant Medicine at Sunway Medical Centre, Malaysia. With over 15 years of diverse clinical experience across public and private sectors, including extensive service with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, she combines deep bedside expertise with a passion for cutting-edge cellular therapies.
For over seven years at Sunway Medical Centre, Dr. Palaniappan’s clinical focus has centered on stem cell transplantation for hematological malignancies, CAR-T cell therapy, and clinical immunotherapy. Her advanced training includes specialized studies in immuno-oncology through Harvard Medical School.
In addition to her clinical practice in hematology and transplant care, Dr. Palaniappan is a certified American Heart Association (AHA) instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), actively training healthcare professionals in critical emergency response and life-saving protocols.
