Editorial Board Member — Clinical Immunology & Autoimmunity
Dr. Hasni Mahayidin is a medical lecturer and consultant immunopathologist with over 12 years of experience educating undergraduate and postgraduate trainees at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She currently serves as the Head of the Immunology Unit within the Department of Pathology at Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, UPM.
Dr. Mahayidin earned her Medical Doctor degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2005 and completed her specialist training with a Master of Pathology in Clinical Immunology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2014.
Her primary research and clinical focus centers on the immunopathogenesis and serum biomarker discovery in autoimmune conditions, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and type 1 diabetes mellitus. She also specializes in serological diagnostics, allergy, and host immune responses to infectious diseases.
